- Mexico History -

Mexico is a country which rich in history, tradition and culture as Mexico is made up of 31 states and one federal district. They are also called as  the third largest country in Latin America and are known to be one largest populations which more than 100 million. Meanwhile other than the political and social changes that have occurred over the centuries, evidence of past cultures and events are apparent everywhere in Mexico. This country also in making it the home of more Spanish speakers than any other nation in the world. Most of the Mexico’s rural areas are lacking with inhabited by indigenous people whose lifestyles are quite similar to those of their ancestors. In addition, many pre-Columbian ruins still exist throughout Mexico, including the ancient city of Teotihuacan and the Mayan pyramids at Chichen Itza and Tulum.

Teotihuacan view of the Avenue of the Deadand the Pyramid of the Sun from the Pyramid of the Moon. At its peak around 600 Classic Era, Teotihuacan was the sixth-largest city in the world. It  featured a rational grid plan and a two-mile-long main avenue.Its monumental pyramids echo the shapes of surrounding mountain.

Calculated from the stone cities of the Maya to the Aztecs, from its conquest by Spain until its reach as a modern nation, Rich history and cultural heritage also been implied by Mexico for more than 10,000 years. This explain why Mexican history explores are ambition in the early civilizations that left their mark on the region’s landscape and society. 

Ancient City of Tulum

Tulum was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Maya; it was at its height between the 13th and 15th centuries and managed to survive about 70 years after the Spanish began occupying Mexico. Old World diseases brought by the Spanish settlers appear to have resulted in very high fatalities, disrupting the society and eventually causing the city to be abandoned. One of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites, Tulum is today a popular site for tourists.Mexicans has been struggle to achieve independence for their country from in 1800s and keep rebuilding in 20th century.
