Natural Economic Resource

Mexico rich with natural resources. That makes Mexico main economic resource are from their natural resources. Mexico makes profit for their country from their petroleum, natural gases, precious metal and non-precious metal.

o   PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS

Petroleum is the most valuable resource in Mexico. There are many petroleum oilrig in Mexico. That is why petroleum is the most valuable resource in Mexico. Petroleum in Mexico was dominated by PEMEX (Petroleos Mexicanos) Company. Natural gas was the second most valuable resources in Mexico and was dominated by Natural Gas Fenosa . Most of the petroleum and natural gas in Mexico are situated around the Gulf of Mexico in the states of Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, and Chiapas. There is two type of natural gas that is dry and liquefied. People prefer more to liquefied natural gas because it can replaced petroleum in the future.

o   PRECIOUS METAL

There is two type of precious metal that become economic resource for Mexico that is silver and gold.

      SILVER

            Mexico was regarded as the world powerhouse in silver production. Most of the silver mine can be found in Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Durango and Guanajuato. Silver was used for making jewelry, electronic items, photography, batteries, and solar energy. There is two company that dominates silver production which is La Faja de Plata and The Silver Belt. This two company get an incentive from PEMEX.

                GOLD

Gold production take a back seat to petroleum, silver and copper as income for country. Gold was produces by MM (Minera Mexico) Company. Although gold is not very demanding than silver, petroleum and natural gas but still gold is very demanding among gold artisan. Currently, the states of Guanajuato and Durango produce most of the precious metal.

            

·         NON-PRECIOUS METAL

There is three type of non-precious metal that become economic resource for Mexico that is cooper, lead and zinc. This three non-precious metal also was produced by MM Company. Copper usually being used in electrical wiring and competent.it is because it easily being shape and strong. State that produced more cooper are Sonora.

Next is Lead. Lead will be mined after zinc and copper because lead is a secondary resources. Lead was being use in making bullets, pigment, lead acid batteries and etc. Lead mine located in Guanajuato, San Luis Potosi, Sonora, Chihuahua and Guanajuato.

Zinc has allowed Mexico make a profit in steel production. Most of zinc was founded in mine in Chihuahua and Zacatecas. Zinc is being used in making steel. The needed of steel have make Mexico get a profit by sell the steel to the other country.
